BEFORE YOU START

What it takes.

Due January 1, 2027The board picks the 2027 recipient in January and planning starts in February.

Being the recipient is a real commitment, and the groups that lean in raise the most. Here’s what we ask:

Attend the monthly planning meetings from February through the festival, or send a representative.
Supply volunteers for every participating venue during the festival weekend: raffle tickets, raffles, games, and your own fundraising activities.
Help plan activities that fit your group and the venues, such as raffles, bingo, or games.
Sell raffle tickets ahead of the festival and help promote Jam Fest to your members and community.
Hold 501(c)(3) status so sponsorships and proceeds can be handled properly.
